A fabulously fun award-winning musical based on the adored movie, Legally Blonde The Musical, follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. Action-packed and exploding with memorable songs and dynamic dances, this musical is so much fun, it shouldn't be legal!

Elle Woods appears to have it all. Her life is turned upside down when her boyfriend Warner dumps her so he can attend Harvard Law. Determined to get him back, Elle ingeniously charms her way into the prestigious law school. While there, she struggles with peers, professors, and her ex. With the support of some new friends, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world.

Starring Ali Funkhouser as Elle Woods and Elliott Styles as Emmett Forrest with Broadway's Ryan Vona (Beautiful, Paramour, Once), Clay Thomson (Matilda, Newsies, KING KONG), and Audrey Cardwell (Nat'l Tours of Falsettos, Bright Star, Cinderella, Anything Goes, Elf). FPAC's production features Jerry Mitchell's original Broadway choreography and canine guests Ricky and Myrtle from William Berloni's Theatrical Animals. 

FPAC's Legally Blonde is a fully vaccinated company.  Masks are required for those who are not vaccinated and appreciated on those who are. 

MEET THE CAST

ALI FUNKHOUSER (ELLE WOODS) is excited to return to Harvard for the 3rd time via Legally Blonde, having most recently done the show at The Lex (dir. Laura Bell Bundy). Other credits include the national tours of Joseph...Dreamcoat and Evita (dir. Hal Prince), Suor Angelica (Chelsea Opera NYC), Hairspray, Company, How to Succeed…, and more. With FPAC, she has been seen in Newsies (Katherine), Joseph...Dreamcoat (Narrator), Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey), and many more. AUDREY CARDWELL* (VIVIENNE KENSINGTON) most recently starred as Cordelia in the national tour of Lincoln Center Theater’s revival of Falsettos. Previously, she headlined the Broadway National Tours of Bright Star as Alice Murphy and Cinderella as Ella. Other tours include Anything Goes and Elf. Regional: The Old Globe, MUNY, Houston TUTS, North Shore Music Theatre, among others. BFA in Musical Theatre from Penn State University. 

ELLIOTT STYLES* (EMMETT FORREST) is afraid of spiders, doodles in his free time, and recently became cat-dad to two baby kittens, who are viciously adorable. He is so excited to be here in Franklin, and to be part of this fantastic show! Thanks to Matt, Steve, Brent, Vince, Linda, Pat, and Max. Love to Philly, Vero, and Caroline. RYAN VONA* (WARNER HUNTINGTON III) A Boston native and New York-based Actor/Musician, Ryan Vona is best known for his work on Broadway in Beautiful, Once, and Cirque du Soleil’s Paramour. In 2015, he began work on his debut album, Somebody. The LP features many of his former Once cast mates; Morphine saxophonist, Dana Colley; among other musicians he greatly admires.

KATIE GRAY (PAULETTE) is a New York based performer and an alum of the Franklin School for the Performing Arts. She is also a graduate of AMDA New York’s musical theater program ( ‘19). She has sung at Feinstein’s 54 Below in Broadway’s Got Talent as well as a Rising Star at Broadway Sessions. Her credits include Matilda (Mrs. Wormwood), You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown (Lucy), and The Addams Family (Wednesday). Katie is so thrilled to be performing with her FPAC family again!  @itskatiegray

KELSEY BRESLIN (BROOKE WYNDHAM) is so excited to be an apprentice performer with FPAC for Legally Blonde! Her credits include Matilda, Joseph...Dreamcoat, Seussical, the world premiere of Christopher Rice’s The Tappy Christmas Special: LIVE!, and more. A recent musical theater graduate of the Franklin School for the Performing Arts, Kelsey will be attending The University of Tampa as a BFA Musical Theatre major. She frequently appears as a vocalist at THE BLACK BOX in concerts and cabarets including a special appearance with Broadway’s Sara Jean Ford.

CAROLINE WILKINS (SERENA) has been an apprentice with FPAC since 2017. At the Franklin School for the Performing Arts, she studied jazz, ballet, tap, commercial dance, acting, and singing. Her credits include The SpongeBob Musical (Sandy), Newsies, Seussical, Peter Pan, Joseph ... Dreamcoat, Shrek, and Matilda (choreographed by Clay Rice-Thomson). Caroline is a three time national champion gymnast (two time regional champion and two time state champion). She has been a member of Electric Youth for 4 years and just returned from their 2021 European Tour. Caroline will be attending the University of Connecticut in the fall!

COURTNEY BEYER (PILAR) is an LA based actor who is stoked to be back on the East Coast! Previous credits include Veronica in Heathers and Whitley Whitaker in The Awesome 80s Prom. If you think you’ve seen her in the background of your favorite TV show or movie, you’re probably right! She would like to thank her friends and family for their constant, unwavering support, as well as FPAC for bringing theatre back where it belongs: LIVE! @callmecbizzle 

HAYLEY DRISCOLL (MARGOT, U/S ELLE) is excited to be back as an apprentice with FPAC! Some of her favorite FPAC performances include Hope in Humbug! and Newsies. Hayley is a student at the Franklin School of the Performing Arts where she has been seen in Disaster! (Sister Mary) and The SpongeBob Musical (Plankton). Hayley has also toured throughout Austria, England, France, Italy and Switzerland with Electric Youth and The Boston Show Band. 

NICK PAONE (PROFESSOR CALLAHAN) has a BA in Theater from Occidental College. A former Equity actor, his performing credits include Cabaret, Little Shop of Horrors, Oklahoma, Red Roses, Brighton Beach Memoirs, and Romeo and Juliet. He has written and directed numerous shows, produced an evening of one-act plays in NYC, and traveled extensively performing with TheatreWorks USA. Nick’s numerous FPAC credits include The Music Man, Fiddler on the Roof, Seussical, The Addams Family, Peter Pan, Les Misérables, Humbug!, Newsies, Little Shop of Horrors, and many more. He is the creative mind behind FPAC’s original musicals Humbug!, Zero, and the holiday pantos. 

CLAY THOMSON* (AARON SCHULTZ & OTHERS) has performed on Broadway in KING KONG (King’s Company), Newsies (Spot Conlon), Matilda (Michael Wormwood), and the Broadway National Tours of WICKED(Chistery), Jesus Christ Superstar, West Side Story (A-rab), and Cameron Macintosh’s Oliver. TV credits include: Saturday Night Live, The TONY Awards, MACYS Thanksgiving Day Parade, The Tonight Show, GMA, The Late Show, The View, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and more. AUDREY MININGHAM (ENID, u/s Paulette) has been a student apprentice in many shows here at THE BLACK BOX with FPAC. Her FPAC credits include Humbug, Matilda, Newsies, and more. Audrey recently toured Europe singing and dancing with Electric Youth and the Boston Show Band. She is a student at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts.

ALEXX STACHOWIAK (PADAMADAN, NIKOS, DANCE CAPTAIN) signed in NYC with @Ldcartistrep and also models for @NYMMG. Recently, Alexx danced ballet for a Disney Plus Original Movie. Other notable credits include Las Vegas’  Dancing Queen, Disney’s Aladdin on DCL, Cirque Du Soleil, RWS Entertainment, and Celebrity X Cruises as a Specialty Dancer and Aerialist. Alexx has done National Tours and regional productions for years, seen as dance captain for many. Additionally, he has danced in Music Videos/Commercials for well known artists in LA and NYC. Alexx is the creator of @FindYourX & hopes to continue to inspire!  @alexxstach 

GUY REZENDES (KYLE & OTHERS) has been seen in many FPAC shows including The Wedding Singer (Sammy), Humbug! (Freddy Mac), The Addams Family (Mal), Newsies, Carol’s Christmas, as well as Whatever Theater Festival productions of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Twelfth Night, and more. He shares the stage in Legally Blonde with his daughters Hannah and Maddie. 

GRIFFIN WILKINS (CARLOS, GRANDMASTER CHAD, & OTHERS, U/S WARNER & KYLE) is so excited to be back on THE BLACK BOX stage with FPAC! Former FPAC appearances include Race in Newsies, Horton in Seussical, Fyedka in Fiddler on the Roof, and Christopher Rice’s The Tappy Christmas Special: LIVE! He is currently a rising junior in the BFA Musical Theatre program at Florida State University. Go ‘Noles! He’d like to thank his family and the FPAC and Franklin community for everything they do! Enjoy the show!

AARON C. ANDRADE (ELLE’S DAD, DEWEY, & OTHERS) is a bi-lingual, Cape Verdean-American actor from Providence, RI.  He studied at Rhode Island College, receiving degrees in Political Science and Theatre Performance, and a MFA in Performance in Society: Using performance to promote social change. He teaches and directs theatrical productions (Boston Casting, Rhode Island College, Franklin School for the Performing Arts, Dean College). He is also a voice over artist, having sent his voice all over the country for commercials, animation, and more. Aaron has also worked in television (Dexter, Defending Jacob) and film (Confess, Fletch, Being Dead), as well as in national and local commercials. 

TZINTLI CERDA (ENSEMBLE) is appearing in her first show as an FPAC apprentice! She is a student at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts where she trains in singing, acting, and multiple disciplines of dance. Tzintli is so excited to be part of Legally Blonde!

JOHN FITZHENRY (ENSEMBLE, U/S EMMETT) is an apprentice from the Franklin School for the Performing Arts where he studies singing, acting, guitar, and multiple disciplines of dance including tap, jazz and musical theater. With FPAC he’s been seen in Newsies,'Tis the Season!, Joseph... Dreamcoat, and Seussical. Other credits include The SpongeBob Musical (SpongeBob), Shrek (Shrek), Footloose (Willard), and Disaster! (Tony).

KIM FRIGON (ELLE’S MOM & OTHERS) is excited to be back on the FPAC stage. She was last seen with FPAC in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Other favorite roles include Adelaide in Guys and Dolls (Bay Colony); Anytime Annie in 42nd Street (Bay Colony); Lucinda in Into The Woods (Fiddlehead); Diana in Lend Me A Tenor (Curtain Call); Lizzie in Baby (TAOS); and Marta in Company [EMACT Award] (Quannapowitt). Kimberly received an MA in Theater Education from Emerson College and a BA Theater /Education from St. Michael's College. 

SAMI GOLDMAN (CHUTNEY & OTHERS, DANCE CAPTAIN, U/S SERENA, MARGOT, PILAR) is super excited to be back as an apprentice for another FPAC show. FPAC credits include Newsies (Ike), Matilda, Christopher Rice’s TheTappy Christmas Special: LIVE,  Humbug!, and ‘Tis The Season!. Her other credits include the Franklin School for the Performing Arts productions of Bring It On (Bridget), The SpongeBob Musical, and Disaster! (Shirley). Sami also had the opportunity to tour Europe with Electric Youth over the summer. She is also part of the Franklin School for the Performing Arts Disney ensembles and dance company. She would like to thank her parents and teachers for all that they have done for her. 

MARIKO MATSUMURA (JUDGE & OTHERS) A native of Tokyo, Mariko holds Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the Longy School of Music and BM in Vocal performance from the University of Montana. Her solo performance credits include works with the Missoula Symphony, Masterworks Chorale, Opera unMET, New England Light Opera, Tanglewood Festival Chorus, JYUGOYA Ensemble, and Lorelei Ensemble. Operatic performances include Aida, Hansel and Gretel, Der Rosenkavalier, and The Magic Flute. She has also premiered numerous compositions throughout New England and Japan.  An advocate for Japanese cultural outreach programs, Mariko has served as artistic director/conductor for Japanese Chorus Ensemble, Chorus Boston. 

TATIANA MCALPINE (WHITNEY & OTHERS, U/S VIVIENNE & BROOKE) is an FPAC apprentice currently being trained at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts. She has been in several FPAC productions including Matilda, Newsies and Seussical. Tatiana has also sung the national anthem for several sports teams including The Boston Red Sox, The Boston Bruins, New England Revolution and The Arizona Diamondbacks. She is thrilled to be able to take part in FPAC’s production of Legally Blonde!

HANNAH REZENDES (ENSEMBLE) has been an apprentice performer with FPAC since 2005. A trained ballet dancer in the Franklin School to the Performing Arts Ballet Conservatory, she has been a student there since age three. Additionally at FSPA, she studies voice and other various dance disciplines. Her credits include The Nutcracker (Clara, Snow Queen), Matilda, Bring It On, Shrek the Musical, Beauty and the Beast, and more. Hannah recently returned from a month long European tour as a member of Electric Youth. She will attend Salve Regina University in the fall. 

MADDIE REZENDES (ENSEMBLE) has toured with Electric Youth since 2018 and recently returned from their 2021 European Tour. She has been an apprentice in FPAC shows since 2005 including Matilda (choreo Clay Thomson), Newsies (choreo Chaz Wolcott), Humbug!, Les Miserables, and the world premiere of Christopher Rice’s The Tappy Christmas Special: LIVE! Maddie was invited to sing with Tony Award winner Beth Leavel in her solo concert. She trains in singing, dancing, and acting at the Franklin School for the Performing Arts, where she has performed in numerous productions including The SpongeBob Musical, Shrek, Bring It On, and more. Maddie will attend  Salve Regina University in the fall.

COLIE VANCURA (KATE & OTHERS) is a rising senior studying Musical Theatre at James Madison University! As a 2017 graduate of the Franklin School for the Performing Arts, she is so grateful to be back on stage with her FPAC family this summer after returning two years ago to dance in Christopher Rice's: The Tappy Christmas Special: LIVE! Some other favorite credits include: We are the Tigers (Director/Choreographer), Lindsay Mendez & RSO’s Actor Therapy in Concert at Feinstein’s/54 Below, Public Works' Twelfth Night (Swing/Asst.
