To FPAC and THE BLACK BOX Ticket Holders

Dear ticket holder,

Thank you for your patronage of THE BLACK BOX and the Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC). We are working diligently to move our organization forward and to keep our venue open! Although our community of performers, creatives, staff, and patrons is resilient and determined, the months of closure and cancelled shows has had a dramatic impact on our financial well-being. After so much time spent tied to technology at home, I hope that you have a heightened awareness of the value of the arts, live performance, and entertainment close to home. Please consider the ways you can help us at the end of this extended “intermission.”

The health and safety of our FPAC community is of the utmost concern. We will embrace the Reopening Massachusetts Guidelines as we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to reopen, first with outdoor concerts in the month of July. We can’t wait to see you there! Before that, please tune in for LET’S GO ON WITH THE SHOW: A Virtual Benefit for the Franklin Performing Arts Company featuring Broadway Stars and FPAC Favorites. Originally slated for Sunday, June 7th, FPAC made the decision to postpone our event to listen and focus on Black Lives Matter. A new date will be announced soon and we hope you’ll be there! The Virtual Benefit offers a chance to thank FPAC for providing months of evening entertainment with Great Performances….From Home on Facebook Live! Many Broadway stars have enthusiastically agreed to lend their talent, while rooting for a comeback for THE BLACK BOX in Franklin, Massachusetts.

A primary purpose of this email is to provide a status report on the shows that were scheduled March – May, 2020 and to provide you with options for your ticket purchases.

Legally Blonde Postponed. This will be the first FPAC musical production when we reopen. Dates TBD!

The Coronavirus crisis has created a daunting scenario for the future of THE BLACK BOX and FPAC.
