EY Concession will be selling pizza, snacks, and water at all rehearsals during Tech week for the Panto.  As a reminder, no pizza or chocolate will be sold to anyone in costume. Thank you for your continued support of EY's Fundraising and Happy Holidays!

Costume Memo from Merrie:

HELLO!

Costumes for the Panto this year will be a DIY affair.  I will provide a few pieces and lots of guidance.

I’m calling the look Modern Vaudeville Orphan.

The approach should be similar to the way we do our Elf costumes for Tis the Season, or Orphans from Humbug. Audiences love these costumes.

1. Use modern clothes.

2. Lots of color, mix- match if you’re brave ( I’ll help)

3. Add some pattern, but no logos or graphic t’s

4. Layers, asymmetry!

5. Accessories such as hats, gloves, socks help to add interest.

6. Shoes that you can dance in

7. Named characters may try to use modern clothes to try to update

an established look ( Peter might wear a green hat with a red feather, Wendy might wear a light blue skater dress)

8. See me if there is something you think you’d like to use from FPAC costume stock.

9. I’ll provide specific pieces for Glinda( hoop skirt), Tumnus(horns), white Witch(white cape),Hook (hook and hat), Tigger Lily (hoodie), and of course Buttons(the usual).

10. I’ve made a Pinterest page for inspiration https://pin.it/agv7jxgnnlbmnp

11. You guys are awesomely creative! Have fun!

12. Costume check to be scheduled soon.

See you at rehearsal!
