May 3rd  will be the second annual Franklin Performing Arts Company 5K Road Race & 1 Mile Fun Run. It will begin and end at the company's home THE BLACK BOX.  Along the route, runners will be entertained and encouraged by sidewalk art created by student artists.  THE BLACK BOX theater will feature face painting and finish line sign making for children and a celebration with live music.

 5K Race start time is 10:00 a.m.  1 Mile Fun Run starts at 10:05 a.m. 

5K and Fun Run are timed, but not certified courses.  

Race Fees

5K:  $25.00 in advance, $35.00 day-of; The first 75 registrants for the 5K get a T-Shirt. 

Fun Run:  $10.00 in advance, $15.00 day-of. 

Register to run in advance or at check-in.  Runners can check in beginning at 9:00 at THE BLACK BOX.

Free activities will begin at 10:00 am!
