WHAT IS THE BAND APP?
We use the app BAND as a tool to help students work on material at home. This app allows teacher to share videos, music and materials in a quick and simple way that is accessible to anyone with a computer, tablet, or phone of any kind. The BAND app can be used on any device and is very easy to use. Please forward the link to your child if you would like them to have their own profile/account on BAND.
BAND will not be a means of communication. There will be no group chats or direct messaging availability. If you need to know something about the school or rehearsal schedule, you should still refer to the website or email/call reception for answers to questions. BAND will only be used to share rehearsal materials and not information. Only the students/parents of the Future Shock will be invited to the group. You cannot share posts on social media or invite friends. Everything in the group is private and only shared with those in the troupe. Please let me know if you have any questions.
